Christ speaks about money frequently, and we aim to foster joyful giving into parishes through almsgiving. That is, we are not simply interested simply collecting money for people in need, but experiencing the joy found in obedience to Christ as well as the freedom that comes with overcoming our passions by offering our God-given resources to others.

Do I have to be Orthodox do give or receive donations?
Anyone can donate to our campaigns, however we exist primarily to support members of the canonical Orthodox Churches in the United States.
Is Commonwealth an official part of any jurisdiction?
No, we are a pan-Orthodox organization.
Do you have an episcopal blessing?
Yes, we are operating under the blessing of Abp. Gabriel (Chemodakov) (ROCOR).
How do you verify need requests?
With the permission of recipients, we contact their local clergy in order to verify their needs.
Are you a nonprofit?
Yes, however as a new organization we have not yet been granted 501(c)(3) status.
Does Commonwealth donate to campaigns?
