How You Can Help
My husband, Matthew George, is currently hospitalized with end-stage heart failure and has recently been placed on the heart transplant list. What began as a difficult diagnosis has rapidly progressed over the past several months, and he now remains hospitalized while waiting for the life-saving gift of a donor heart.
Matthew has been in the hospital since the beginning of May and will not be able to return home until after his transplant and initial recovery. Once he is discharged, he will require around-the-clock care for an extended period of time.
We are a single-income household and have suddenly lost our primary source of income while facing ongoing household expenses, travel costs, and the many financial burdens that come with a prolonged hospitalization and transplant journey. Due to my own health limitations and caregiving responsibilities, I am unable to work during this time.
We are humbly asking for any assistance you are able to provide. Every donation, prayer, and share helps ease the financial burden and allows us to focus on what matters most: Matthew’s health, recovery, and our family’s future.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
