Summary
Early this year, David’s grandmother’s health began to decline rapidly, and he had to quit his job to care for her full-time. This has been a blessing in many ways but has also brought significant financial strain.
During this time, David’s fiancé, Olivia faced a season of transition and has been without steady work. As his grandmother’s caretaker, David has been living in her home, but after she passes, his living situation is likely going to be up in the air. There’s been plenty of couch surfing, asking for favors from friends and complications.
The couple is to be married in February and are doing their best to keep a prayerful and disciplined life through these challenges. Both are actively looking for work. David has a promising lead with a local service company, and Olivia has been offered a nannying job, but both positions are still uncertain. As of November 8th, at the time this is being written, neither has started yet.
Until they can find stable employment, they need some short-term help with basic living expenses and transportation as they work toward financial stability and marriage.
