Do I have to be Orthodox do give or receive donations?
Anyone can donate to our campaigns, however we exist primarily to support members of the canonical Orthodox Churches in the United States.
Is Commonwealth an official part of any jurisdiction?
No, we are a pan-Orthodox organization.
Do you have an episcopal blessing?
Yes, we are operating under the blessing of Abp. Gabriel (Chemodakov) (ROCOR).
How do you verify need requests?
With the permission of recipients, we contact their local clergy in order to verify their needs.
Are you a nonprofit?
Yes, however as a new organization we have not yet been granted 501(c)(3) status.
Does Commonwealth donate to campaigns?
No, we operate the platform but do not donate to campaigns?
Are campaigns limited to Orthodox Christians in the US?
Presently, we are only able to host campaigns for people living in the United States. We hope to expand our reach in the future.
